I've been re-bluing guns for over 40-years. So it was no problem back in March of 2010 when a good friend asks if I could re-blue his old 12-gauge pump shotgun. I had re-blued several of my antique guns and had done three guns that I had built. Plus I did a few for other friends such as shotguns, rifles, pistols and even old black powder guns. I had everything I needed to do the job. So I picked up the gun one night at work.

This job was fairly easy. Just sanding, cleaning and a re-bluing. So I got started.
